Together (We are the People)
Dangerous Doug wrote this song after watching the news and seeing the 5 year anniversary marking John Lennon's murder that was held in Central Park. There was a candle light vigil there and in the 3rd verse reference is made to the candles. Dangerous Doug plays all instruments on this song.

Why do they look at me quite the way that they do?
Stare at me with their bug eyes. They look right through you.
Live out all my life trying to be what I am not.
Afraid of what they might say. It don't mean a whole lot.

They try to tell us right from wrong as they sip an ice cold beer.
Acting as if they're the ones that we should cheer.
I don't think that we need them trying to run our lifes.
I only do what I feel good and to me that's what's right.

Chorus
We are the people. What do they call you?
All we want is our freedom and we won't bother you.

We try to live in harmony, hand in hand, spreading peace..
Get your candles out my friends, come on and follow me.
W'all the people throughout the world shall stand together as one.
Rock-n-Roll is what we need to laugh and to have fun.

Chorus
We are the people. Standing side by side.
All the nations will sing with me, a happy song tonight.
We are the people. What do they call you?
All we want is our freedom and we won't bother you.
We are the people. Hand in hand, side by side.
All the nations will sing with me, a happy song tonight.
Because, we are the people. What do they call you?
All we want is our freedom and we won't bother you.
No, we won't bother you oh no. We won't bother you.
